Journaling: You never had a real home until we adopted you. You were rescued from a puppy mill, and for the first year of your life you lived in a tiny, crowded cage. We are so grateful for Carol Wheeler at Hearts United for Animals. She has given you the chance to live a life full of love. We brought you home, and you have been amazed by all the smells, noises, toys, a yard to play in, a soft blanket, laps to sit in, and tons of hugs and kisses. Welcome to your new world ~ Chewbacca Barnett Kruse.

New Header...

Way too busy...

My life hit over drive through the month of April and didn't calm down until today! So since I missed May sketches - I will be posted double for the month of June! So stay tuned and check back on the 1st!

Journaling:How can we possibly ever thank you both for thirteen years of unconditional love? You were always there for us when we came home; you were always there to protect us at night. We had thirteen years of unending laughs. There isn’t one day that goes by when I don’t think back to the day in March when we let the two of you go. You both were tired and sad. You had been such great friends to us and to each other. You loved to play and snuggle with each other. It was only fitting that the two of you should leave us, together. It was hard to let you go, but on that day you both knew and were content. You were together until the end, and the last thing you saw were the faces of those who loved you. Thank you for ever year; you will always be in our hearts and rest well “our good and faithful servants.”
